We are passionate about latin dancing.

Rhythmology is an online and physical social dance community. An invented word, Rhythmology, means the study of rhythm. In order to become an excellent dancer, one must understand how the body moves in cadence to music.

We teach dancing through innovative partner exercises in order to teach fundamental technique without forgetting about the versatility of social dancing. Our approach is scalable to provide dancers of all ages and levels with a unique program catered to the students ambitions – from jamming at the night club to competing in international circuits.

Rhythmology founder, Alfred Pena, was the principle dancer for Prince Royce’s bachata version of Ben E. King’s “Stand By Me.”

Our students learn a regimented approach to leading (initiating movement) and following (responding to the movement). Our curriculum emphasizes efficiency of movement, styling, and control. By focusing on timing and precision of technique, dance pairs learn to execute tightly woven and complex patterns. The leaders learn skills focusing on elegance and efficiency while followers learn to be flexible responders with a sense of responsibility for self initiated movement. Dancing with the Rhythmology method is a constant call and response that yields dynamic performances. Prepare to captivate the crowd.
